Chicago Volunteers,
Join Street Samaritans on Sunday, May 6th for our May outreach and care package we encourage Chicago to do EXTEND A HAND to our Homeless! As always, we will gather to collect donations, assemble care packages, discuss homelessness, and distribute living essentials to our homeless brothers and sisters.

Donations are needed to buy items to distribute during the drive!! Per each attendee, please donate a minimum of $20 here to support our program: https://www.youcaring.com/ streetsamaritans-1173883.
Items we're looking to collect:
[+] New or lightly used clothing: shoes, coats, jeans, jackets, socks, sweaters, underwear
[+] Toiletries, hygiene and health products: skin care, dental care, hair care, emergency care, supplements
[+] Gift cards: restaurants, convenience and grocery stores, transportation
[+] Non-perishable foods: jerky, sauce packs, granola, chips, bars, snacks
Our goal is to put together 250 care packages. An ideal care package will include:

Description
We help to improve the living conditions of our homeless brothers and sisters in the city of Chicago through volunteering, charitable giving and direct outreach. We seek to educate people on the Street Samaritan way and enlighten them on true causes of homelessness, so that they, too, can help on a daily basis and become better social citizens. We connect volunteers together to build a closer community, provide human connection for those inflicted with homelessness, and build partnerships with local companies to drive stewardship.
