Great Strides provides a fantastic opportunity for family, friends, students, and colleagues to come together and make a difference. The event harnesses the power of people with a shared vision and encourages collaboration, team building, and leadership, as we take steps to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Your participation in Great Strides matters a lot! We don’t just want to treat CF, we want to end CF.

Volunteer Needs

• Set Up: 8-9am - Help us set up for the event including popping up tents, setting up registration and refreshment areas and marking the walk route.
• Registration: 830-1030am - Staff registration table- welcome and assist attendees during registration.
• Event Booths* (Refreshments/ T-shirts/Activities): 9-12pm - Staff varied event booths including handing out t-shirts, refreshments and staffing activity/game tables.
• Walk Route Monitors: 930am-12pm - Direct/guide walk participants along the walk route- ensure safe crossing of any intersections and cheer on teams as they walk by.
