At Abode Hospice, we aim to enhance a person's well-being when that person is living with a life-limiting illness. We attend to our patient's medical well-being, as well as emotional, spiritual, psychological, and social well-being. Our volunteers are critical to our interdisciplinary approach to patient care. As a volunteer with Abode Hospice, you will contribute to the quality of life of our patients by making companionship visits. Companionship visits can be spent having conversation, writing letters, helping in life-legacy projects, listening to music, etc.
