Same name, new flavor. Celebrate your Springfield pride with a free downtown celebration. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from local restaurants, food trucks and breweries. Purchase your souvenir glass and your first beverage sample for just $5. Enjoy live, local music throughout the evening. Limited edition Springfield Proud items will also be available for purchase. Description
Willamalane Park and Recreation District maintains and operates seven recreation facilities and 44 parks and natural areas that make up more than 1,500 acres. Highlights include Splash! at Lively Park, Camp Putt Adventure Golf Park, Wildish Community Theater, 13 waterfront areas, 21 miles of hiking and biking trails, 15 sports fields and 24 playgrounds. Willamalane offers hundreds of recreation programs to more than 60,000 patrons. Created by voters in 1944, Willamalane is a special tax district, separate from the city of Springfield, with its own boundaries. It is governed by a five-member, elected board of directors and managed by a district superintendent. Online information is available at willamalane.org
