VITAS Patient-Care Light Housekeeping Volunteers- St. Charles County
ORGANIZATION: VITAS Healthcare of St. Louis
Please visit the new page to apply.
VITAS is looking for Light House Keeping Volunteers to help hospice patients and their families with light housekeeping assistance. We are currently looking for a Light House Keeping Volunteer to help during the day at a patient’s home in the St. Charles County area. Volunteers can support patients and families by offering to do light cooking/meal preparation, dusting, vacuuming, making the bed, washing dishes or doing a load of laundry. These simple tasks can become difficult for a patient and family at the end-of-life. Providing assistance at such a crucial time can make a real difference.
Comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering is provided. For more information on this opportunity, please contact Emily Jokerst at (314) 682-3400 or at Emily.Jokerst@VITAS.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
