The Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley’s 26th Annual Gala - We Are the World, will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the iconic Mission San Juan Capistrano; we will honor the Clubs’ legends and leaders whose vision and unwavering dedication paved the way for life-changing opportunities for our youth of Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow.

WE NEED AMAZING VOLUNTEERS!

Your volunteer work will help make a difference to over 2,300 youth who attend our Boys & Girls Clubs in San Juan Capistrano, Rancho Santa Margarita and Aliso Viejo. We believe every child has the potential to BE GREAT. Proceeds from this event will support activities and programs that promote and develop literacy, self-confidence, sportsmanship, leadership, character building and a strong sense of community pride.

Here is a tentative timeline of volunteer duties; please let me know how many of you can help and what time frame/group you are interested in helping out in.

GALA VOLUNTEER TIMELINE - 6/9/18

9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., 10 volunteers: Silent Auction set-up with Auction with Flair, volunteers with lots of strength and energy.

11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 5 volunteers: AV set-up young adult volunteers, energetic, possibly interested in Audi/Visual

11 a.m. -4:30 p.m., 5 volunteers: Live Auction Set-up - Older Adults volunteers, attention to detail and creative

Noon, 4 volunteers: Admin Prep

3 p.m.- 4p.m., 4 volunteers: Collect Bid Sheets

3 p.m. - 10 p.m., 5 Volunteers: Registration - Older adult volunteers, mature high school, college, etc.

4:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., 10 Volunteers: Auction with Flair - Key Volunteers to help with silent auction items, the entire event, staff, energetic, responsible volunteers.

7 p.m.-10 p.m., 6 volunteers: Runners for live auction, Bring invoices to tables at the end of the night.

3 p.m. - Close, 6 volunteers: Dining room set-up, Centerpieces and programs at chairs, spotters for live auction

10 p.m.-Midnight, 5 volunteers: Load staff U-Haul - Help break down event, strong, energetic volunteers.
