Nonprofit grant writing includes: preparing grant proposals by performing research. To develop the proposals, grant writers must familiarize themselves with the organization's programs, goals and financial needs. They also look into potential and current funding sources. After compiling all the information, grant writers compose and send their proposals.
Grant writers must document and keep records to track their proposals. If a grant-making organization requests additional information, nonprofit grant writers supply the missing items. Some additional duties, may include managing other volunteers, working with an executive board of leaders, planning fund-raising campaigns and promoting the organization through public relations work.

Mission Statement
Peace Ambassadors is, first and foremost, a community outreach initiative. Thus, we pride ourselves on our involvement in community service in every regard from taking care of those members of the Nashville community that have nothing left, to providing free legal and health clinics. We provide a free business incubator initiative as well as a training program for vocational skills. Peace Ambassador's has also taken charge when it comes to meeting with local leaders and public departments such as the police and fire departments. Peace Ambassadors prides itself on the education that we provide both to adults and children.
Description
Peace Ambassadors USA is a non-profit, community based organization founded in 2012 to fight bias, bigotry, and racism through education and interfaith dialogue. PA will be utilizing education and outreach programs mixed with charitable works to accomplish its mission. Through these activities and programs, PA will focus on building bridges of peace, understanding, and co-existence between Muslim and non-Muslim Americans of all faiths and backgrounds. Peace Ambassadors USA’s vision is to excel in providing innovative outreach services and education programs by establishing quality instructional programs, disseminating educational products, and founding charitable works and services in order to promote better interfaith communication and services.
