The Heritage Park 5K, 10K and 15K has called Heritage Park it's home for over 30 years. Beginning as a triathlon and finally ending up as a road race the event runs through Heritage Park and along the new Coffee Creek Trail System.
Please see below for a description of volunteer job duties on event day:
Parking attendants will arrive by 5:45am and meet at the Football/Cheerleading lot just south of the Heritage Park main park entrance on Pflumm Road. Parking attendants will assist event staff with parking the paved parking lots and then moving on to the grass lot near the park maintenance entrance.
Volunteers will assist race management team with checking participants in and handing out race packets. Volunteers will also be responsible for bag drop. Once the race begins, volunteers will move to assist with race results.
Volunteers will provide directional assistance along the course
Volunteers will hand out refreshments to participants after they finish the race.
Volunteers will manage water stations and hand out water/powerade to runners along the course.
