IMMEDIATE OPENINGS AVAILABLE!
Give back to wonderful patients through your time and companionship. Most hospice volunteers feel personally rewarded through their offering of time, energy, and compassion when they see how much they are able to help patients.
What you cane Expect: friendly visits, writing letters/cards, reading to patients, playing music for them, playing board games, and or being a quiet presence when needed.
You will work directly with the Volunteer Coordinator and work out schedules. This is very flexible, but does require dependability and a minimum of 2 hours per month. As a volunteer you will be asked to go where the patients are. We cover the St Johns, Charlotte, and Jackson areas etc -- primarily Lansing facilities. The opportunity may not be for you, but if you know anyone that you believe would be interested, please do send them my way
For more information please call our office at 517.886.8470 THANK YOU!
