The Family Wellbeing & Resource Fair is a free event where families can connect with 50 agencies that provide youth activities, childcare, housing, food support, financial help, advocacy, special education, mental health support, and more. Participants will have a free meal, back massages, children's activities, face painting, raffle prizes, and more!

Our volunteers will help:

  • Check in visitors and exhibitors
  • Run carnival games and crafts for children while parents connect with resources
  • Serve food to visitors and exhibitors
  • Announce the door prize winners
  • Set up & take down table decorations and signs
Volunteers will help families connect with resources that support their families, and help families have a fun evening together.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to at least 2 hours of the fair.

Mission Statement

RCCMHC will work across systems and with families to meet the complex needs of youth with or at risk for emotional disturbance (ED) or serious emotional disturbance (SED).

Description

The Ramsey County Children's Mental Health Collaborative (RCCMHC) is a diverse community partnership of 200 families and over 30 child-serving agencies. Together, we work to create an integrated system of care that supports resiliency, recovery and lifetime family wellness. RCCMHC and our members coordinate outreach, advocacy, support, prevention, intervention and direct services for youth with mental health disorders and their families.

We provide twice-annual resource fairs, a monthly family program to help parents learn how to support their children's mental health, and other outreach and educational events. We also host a monthly family service committee meeting and help families get involved in policy-setting around children's mental health.
