ORGANIZATION: GREENHEART INTERNATIONAL

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

We are looking for wonderful people to open their homes to international Exchange students for a few weeks up to a school year. You choose. The students are from 70 different countries and have a variety of interests and talents. Bring Culture to your home and community by making the difference in the lives of one of these young people.

The students are between 15-18,have their own spending money and insurance, and speak English. A host person opens their home to help a student learn about our culture while getting to experience what it's like in the students home country through their eyes. They go to your neighborhood high school.

Our students are required to volunteer and give back to the communities that they live in. They have a variety of talents and interests (which we try to match to your own). Is there a language you would like to learn? A country you have always wanted to visit? How about a culture or religion that fascinates you? Most host families have lifelong relationships with their student (and parents) that enriches their lives beyond measure.

We want to help these students come to the US and many are still awaiting word of their host family. Can you assist with this incredible opportunity to develop diplomacy between the US and other nations?

Please call Leah 253-358-3054 or email lfrazier@greenheart.org
