The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica operates year-round after-school programming in the Mar Vista Gardens housing community. Almost 700 kids from the local neighborhood attend the Club, with an average daily attendance of 150.

Our Mar Vista Club is in need of some enthusiastic volunteer soccer coaches who can impart good sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy attitudes for our members!

Coaches can choose their practice times once a week for an hour from 3pm to 6pm either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Coaches can work with the Athletic Director on alternative times if necessary.

Coaches will be responsible just for coaching their team. Athletic Director will provide all equipment and any support that you need.

Volunteers can choose one of three divisions to coach:

• Ages 5-7 games are Saturday for an hour 9am -11am
• Ages 8-10 games are Friday nights for an hour 6pm-8pm
• Ages 11-13 games are Thursday night foe an hour 6pm-8pm

All volunteers must pass a background check. There is a $30 background check processing fee.
