Do you love hanging out at farmer's markets? Then this is the opportunity for you! The SNAP (SupplementalNutrition Assistance Program) allows folks to use their aid dollars to buy healthy, locally produced food at farmers markets.
This opportunity involves sitting at our SNAP booth at the Hiawatha Farmer's Market and taking the client's card and converting it into tokens that they can use to pay the market vendor. We'll be at the market every week all summer so take as few or as many Sundays as you can!

Headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Horizons provides a variety of services across East Central Iowa including Financial Health & Wellness Counseling Services, Family Outreach Programs (Family Support, The Survivors’ Program), Meals On Wheels, and Mental Health Counseling. Our Neighborhood Transportation Service also provides affordable night and weekend transportation to work, job training, and night classes when the city buses don't operate.
