ABOUT CATALYST KITCHENS
Catalyst Kitchens (CK) is the national program of FareStart; and collaborative network of organizations
with a shared vision to empower lives through job training, self-generate revenue through social enterprise,
and nourish bodies and minds through quality food service.

GOAL OF THE POSITION
To create research to help support CK members to learn and grow within the industry

DUTIES
Review materials across a broad range of topics including: food industry, food news, hunger &
homelessness, policy changes that affect workforce development & nonprofit work, social enterprise,
business development, nonprofit funding, etc.
Volunteers are also needed to create blog posts, infographics, event promotion images, and social media
promotional images.
This position is rather broad so we are recruiting between 3-6 volunteers to help support CK for both the
researching and content creating components.

*This position does allow for work from home options, but some time will need to be spent in the office to
review work, make edits, and to check-in with the CK team.
