Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care-Hillsborough
Where: We have opportunities throughout Hillsborough County so we can find one that’s convenient for you!
About: Some of our patients are spending the final weeks, days and hours of their life alone, without family and friends nearby. Although they become part of the Seasons Hospice family, these individuals would benefit from your companionship and supportive presence at the end of their life.
Vigil Volunteers are trained to support patients in their final hours by holding their hand, providing reassurance, placing a cool washcloth on their forehead, creating a peaceful environment through music, aromatherapy and offering support throughout their transition.
You will receive full hospice volunteer training and specialized Vigil Volunteer training. All volunteers with Seasons Hospice complete a basic physical and background check, paid for by Seasons.
If this sounds like a meaningful opportunity to you, please contact us for more information.

Honoring Life - Offering Hope
Hospice is a special concept of care designed to provide comfort ad support to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to curative treatment. Hospice patients are cared for in their personal residences, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and in contracted inpatient hospital settings.
Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care engenders hope in the lives of its patients and their family members. We are here for you.
We are a comunity-based organization on an ongoing mission to find creative solutions which add quality of life. We believe firmly in the patient/family focus of hospice care, recognizing that individuals and families are the experts in their own care.
We'll work with your schedule.
