Volunteers are critical to the success of the One in Five Marathon Relay. We will be needing volunteers Thursday and Friday for varying positions. Food will be provided for each volunteer shift. The available timeslots for each day are listed below, with varying numbers of volunteers needed per shift.
Thursday Shifts:
- Set-up: 10:00AM - 2:00PM (4 volunteers needed)
- Set-up: 12:00PM - 4:00PM (8 volunteers needed)
- Set-up: 2:00PM - 6:00PM (4 volunteers needed)
- Packet Pick-up: 3:00PM - 7:00PM (4 volunteers needed at MVP Sports Club- 4035 Burton St SE)
Friday Shifts:
- Course lighting: 9:00AM - 1:00PM (8 volunteers needed)
- Set-up: 12:00PM - 4:00PM (4 volunteers needed)
- Refreshment Tent: 4:00PM - 10:00PM (5 volunteers needed)
- Parking: 4:30PM - 9PM (3 volunteers needed)
- Late Registration/Volunteer Tent: 4:30PM - 9PM (5 volunteers needed)
- Aid Station: 6:30PM - 10:30PM (10 volunteers needed)
- Beer Tickets/Wristbands: 7:00PM - 12:00AM (6 volunteers needed)
- Course Marshalls: 7:30PM - 10:30PM (6 volunteers needed)
- Finish Line: 7:45PM - 10:30PM (4 volunteers needed)
- Teardown: 10:00PM - 1:00AM (10 volunteers needed)

Description
Hope Network provides a continuum of specialized care for those with brain and spinal cord injuries, mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance abuse disorders, and other disadvantages. Our support services include transportation, subsidized housing, case management, community based services, and workforce development.
Hope Networks Volunteer Transportation System (VTS) was founded in 1997 to address the unmet transportation needs of Medicaid and disadvantaged residents in rural areas.
