Family Financial Transformations is a strengthening program designed to help families take control of their personal finances, set financial goals, and access resources to assist in achieving them. Participants benefit from comprehensive one on-one financial coaching, financial education courses for the whole family, and other financial resources. Volunteers are needed to teach 3-4 quarterly adult financial education classes or teach 2-3 quarterly kids financial education classes. Volunteers commit 6-8 hours quarterly, days and evening opportunities available. Qualifications include:

  • Strong communication skills, including fluency in English
  • Baseline understanding and comfort with teaching about financial topics
  • Ability to be patient in listening and answering financial questions
  • Comfortable using virtual platforms such as Microsoft Teams
