Help a local hospice serve our Veteran patients on a real and personal level. We, at Kindred Hospice, do our very best to honor our Veterans. Be a part of that by volunteering your time with us. No matter what your talents or interests, you can make a difference in someone’s life by making Veteran-to-Veteran visits to patients and providing companionship and support through conversation, leisure activities or by being a supportive presence. You may also provide respite for caregivers so they can have some time away for themselves. When you volunteer with us, you become part of a team of skilled, compassionate people who dedicate their time to a truly noble cause. To get started, please contact our local office and speak to the Manager of Volunteer Services.

The passionate pursuit of excellence in nurturing the physical, spiritual and emotional well-being of our patients and their families, while being responsible stewards of our human and financial resources.
Hospice is a comprehensive program of medical care designed to address the physical , emotional and spiritual needs of patients with life-limiting illnesses and to provide support services for their family members. This care is provided by skilled, compassionate health care professionals and trained volunteers in the comfort of patient's homes, as well as nursing homes and special in-patient facilities. One of the primary objectives of hospice care is to help patients and family members be as comfortable as possible so they can truly live all the days of their lives.
We'll work with your schedule.
