ORGANIZATION: Support The Enlisted Project (STEP)

Shifts are available from 7 AM-3:00 PM

  • Parking/Traffic Management & Crowd Control (0700-1600): Direct people, bikes and cars to proper area, 2 hour shifts.
Volunteer Parking: Parking for all guest/volunteers will be next to Biggs Harley-Davidson. Entrance to the structure is from Furniture Row (near Ethan Allen) just west of Bingham Drive. Just FYI, only motorcycles will be able to enter the event from Armorlite Drive, which is the north end of Bingham.

Volunteer Check-In: Please find STEP Booth or Volunteer Booth setup right near the stage and next to the KGB booth. If you cannot find, please see STEP staff or anyone in a red STAFF shirt and they can point you in the right direction.

Volunteers have the opportunity to participate, there is lots to see: 80+ vendors, live music, kids area with bouncy house, motorcycle stunt shows, BMX stunt shows, and more!

STEP assists junior active duty enlisted members and recently discharged enlisted veterans and their families in Southern California facing financial crisis achieve long term financial self-sufficiency through counseling, educations and grants to alleviate critical near term obligations.

Description

Volunteers are implemented in every part of the nonprofit, and is vital to reach our mission of supporting these military families. We need consistent help with sorting donated items, as well as administrative and holiday program support.
