Sound The Alarm - Smoke Alarm Installation

Help save lives in our community.

According to the National Fire Protection Association, on average, seven people die in U.S. home fires per day. Most in homes that lack working smoke alarms. Sadly, children and the elderly disproportionately lose their lives.

Last year in San Jose, there were 2 fires that took away 6 Vietnamese Americans lives. We cannot, and will not, let that happen again.

VIVO is honored to join this effort with the American Red Cross to save lives in our community.

There will be 3 days for upcoming volunteer opportunities, 4/28, 5/5, & 5/12 from 9am-3pm. Each event day will need about 100 volunteers.

Volunteers will receive complimentary breakfast, lunch and a Sound the Alarm t-shirt ... as well as all the great memories that come from serving your community!
