Handles the organization's artistic direction. The Artistic Director is responsible for conceiving, developing, and implementing the artistic vision and focus of the organization, and for major decisions about the ongoing arts programs. The Artistic Director is responsible for the artistic vision and programming of the company, and for facilitating the artistic component of management and fundraising activities. The Artistic Director works closely with the staff in planning the activities of the company and directs some or all of the company's productions. (Dance, Music, Drama) etc The Artistic Director's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ARTISTIC  Chooses some and/or all the company's programming and presents it to the Board for approval  Directs some or all of the company's programmed productions, assists with casting and/or selecting some/all artistic production personnel for the company  Designs and participates in the company’s new play and new musical development activities, film/tv  Works closely with the Board of Directors, including attending Board meetings, sitting on Board committees and/or attending strategic planning sessions when necessary  Assists with writing or approving all materials which describe the company's artistic vision and content  With the CEO or appointed staff members, helps to negotiate and secure advantageous artistic partnerships for the company  Represents the company, its artistic vision and its cultural priorities in local, provincial and national contexts  Supervises any junior staff in artistic support activities  Helps to devise and participates in outreach and audience development activities related to the company's production  Together with the CEO or Executive Admin, negotiates and executes contracts for the self-employed personnel of the organization, including but not limited to: actors, designers, production personnel, playwrights and directors, etc, (may be necessary)  Together with the appointed staff members, hires and supervises all part-time, full time and seasonal employees,volunteers and interns, etc Other job duties as assigned

To inspire, educate, engage and reach At-risk youth, young adults and their families in underserved communities through performing arts and to provide life skills training, mentoring services, job training and educational programs, etc. To develop and/or strengthen the positive bonds of youth to their families, schools, and communities.

This organization provides; Mentoring Programs, Life Coaching, Counseling, Bullying Prevention programs, Volunteer opportunities, Back to school Drives, Food Distribution to needy families, various workshops, seminars, community events, dance, music, TV/Film, Acting classes, provide resources for those with mental health issues, info for those who want to enroll in college, scholarship info, provide info on obtaining a GED, pregnancy counseling/resources, provides birth control info, disease prevention
info, drug/alcohol counseling/resources, suicide/crisis center info/resources, re-entry programs/resources, info on
Health & Wellness, etc.
