We are a California 501(c)(3) and we need someone to keep our books and possibly file our taxes. We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience with non-profits who will help us to keep our financials in good order and also file our taxes each year. We would be willing to hire someone else to file taxes if you can keep the books in good order. We are not in a position to employ anyone yet and so, until we are sufficiently funded to do so, we hope that you will volunteer to help us with this.

Mission Statement
Our Mission is to resolve trauma in communities of all kinds, resulting in engaged and productive community members because they have put their trauma behind them, are free of its devastating impacts, and are able to move on, having regained resilience, power of choice, and control over their lives.
Description
The Ardicare Foundation's primary service is our Peer-Community CoCare Program, which teaches individuals in traumatized communities how to help one another to overcome traumatic experience, put it behind them, and reclaim their lives, without being medicalized, pathologized, or diagnosed.
Our Facilitator Training teaches people who want to help us with the huge job we've taken on. We offer a comprehensive program of training and certification on how to implement programs in communities that have experienced trauma.
Our Community Leadership Class for schools and community colleges, provides life and learning skills and a vocabulary of concepts related to individual and community wellbeing, leadership, community service, peace making, critical thinking, and environmental stewardship.
We've been effectively changing lives in communities around the world for five years and we've got a huge job to do. It is hard work but fabulously gratifying. Join us in whatever way works for you in making a difference by giving people their lives back. There are lots of ways to support us. Your skills and talents will be gratefully received.
