We need volunteers to help us with planning our social events:
- music festival setup
- gala event setup
- designing parade float
- organizing silent auction
- gathering sponsors
- managing information and ticket booths
- and much more
Every 2nd and 4th Monday evening from 5-7 pm, we meet at the Willow Tree Coffeehouse and Music Room. You can join us there to learn about our volunteer needs. Or feel free to e-mail us at volunteer@pridetricities.com

Mission Statement
Pride Community Center of the Tri-Cities is dedicated to providing a safe space to foster the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of individuals in the LGBT communities of the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas. Our goal is to create positive social change in the region by nurturing a healthy, active, productive, and contributing LGBT community, and establishing a proud visible presence with a central location. Pride Community Center is committed to empowering the local LGBT population, through advocacy, education and entertainment, via a variety of mediums.
Description
Pride Community Center of the Tri-Cities’ values include a commitment to serve the community in accordance with these principles: * To actively embrace diversity within and among our communities, generating inclusiveness of opinions, beliefs, and values without regard to age, socio-economic status, race, culture, or religious practice. * To promote the empowerment of marginalized groups within the LGBT communities such as youth, seniors, and people with disabilities. * To work toward the eradication of violence in our community and the lives of individuals. * To work toward the elimination of all types of discrimination including homophobia, heterosexism, racism, sexism, classism, ageism, ableism, and other forms of oppression in our communities and the lives of individuals. * To foster LGBT community involvement in the area while promoting positive visibility and acceptance. * To engage the larger community in our work through the promotion of volunteerism and collaboration with like-minded individuals and organizations, including those that are not specifically LGBT identified. * To promote positive social change within and beyond our organization while keeping the community informed of our actions and decisions.
