Do you LOVE being around Reptiles, Amphibians, or Arthropods? EcoVivarium Living Museum is looking for dedicated animal people who know their way around the very special animals we work with every day. Our Animal Ambassadors are 98% rescue and 2% donated, many have been through some rough times and need understanding and capable hands to manage their daily care, cleaning, and feeding. We currently have approximately 200 Animal Ambassadors that require daily care.
We are a small nonprofit that strives to give our Ambassadors the best care possible. Our goal is to be hands-on with every Ambassador, every day. We want to keep them warm, clean, healthy, and happy. We need your help to make that happen. Granted, there is nothing glamorous about cleaning up after these animals! We are looking for the special people who enjoy caring for these unique animals and gain satisfaction from creating a clean habitat for them. Basic handling knowledge is essential. Our ideal candidate will be available 20 hours per month, is reliable, and has experience with one or more of the animal groups featured in our museum. Care hours available from 9 to 5 Wednesday through Sunday.
