Business of Art Manager
The Business of Art is a program that is administered by The Maple Grove Arts Center. It is intended to promote local artists in the local area.
Business of Art manager is responsible for coordinating artists art in local businesses. Currently we have six local business and 6 artists in the program.
The job requires personable appliant to take responsibility of contacting artists and approving their art for the program. The manager will also be in contact with the assigned businesses to develop a guide with measurements and number of pieces of art for each location, plus it will identify the hanging nails or hanging system for each site (no damage to the businesses walls). The manager will inform the artists as to where they will deliver and hang their art on the existing nails. This rotation will be done four times a year (quarterly) This requires meeting with artists, viewing and approving of art for the different locations. Not all art will be appropriate for some locations. The artist must be a member to participate in this program. The person will also be responsible for liasing with businesses,artists and purchaser if a sale if made.

Housing both gallery and studio space with a sought after downtown Maple Grove location, the Maple Grove Arts Center has been serving and sharing art with its community since 2009.
Several community groups utilize our space for meetings and shows. We have classes for children, seniors, beginning, intermediate and beyond!
MGAC has 6 -7 gallery shows per year. This gives our member and artist's many chances to exhibit and share their work.
