The Meals on Wheels Ambler location needs one volunteer to consistently come in everyday M-F for two hours, to put out breakfast for the seniors at the Montco SAAC- Senior Center and assist in packing the cold lunches for the Meals on Wheels program. The hours will be 8:15 am - 10:15 am.

The mission of the Montco SAAC is to involve, enrich and empower adults 50 years of age and better to live as independently as possible in our communities.
Description
Montco SAAC is comprised of two senior center facilities and three meals-on-wheels programs.
At our centers, the over 50 population partake in numerous activites and classes to keep brain and body active and maintain social connections.
Seniors can enjoy lunch each day at both centers, located in Norristown and Ambler. We also run meals-on-wheels programs out of those two centers plus a program in Glenside. Those clients receive two meals each day, one hot and one cold. Not only are those folks receiving nutritious meals but also a visit from a caring volunteer who is a friendly face and checks in on them.
We strive to help folks live as independently as possible in our communities.
