If you have a heart for seniors and a passion for the library, this is the volunteer opportunity for you!
NOTE: For a great volunteer match we want to place you where you will feel capable and comfortable. Please consider the suggested list of skillsets and qualities. Don't worry if you lack a few. Volunteering is an opportunity to develop skills, too.
You will be sharing Information, Ideas, and Excitement with Seniors at Sunrise Senior Living, Emerald Meadows, Sentinel Pointe, and Gaylord House.

At Kent District Library, we challenge the traditional concept of a library. Yes, there are books to check out, but also bicycles, iPads, Wi-Fi hotspots and GoPro cameras. At KDL, convenience is king! Our cardholders have access to one of the largest digital collections in the country, featuring eBooks, eAudiobooks, streaming or downloadable movies, music, games and even a digital comic book collection.
