We are looking volunteers to help out with Lincoln Park Zoo's 40th annual Run for the Zoo! We will have thousands of race participants running either a 5k or 10k to support the zoo. The shift where we currently need the most help is for Course Marshal. Volunteer Course Marshals are placed along the run/walk routes to direct (and encourage runners). You'll help to make sure the runners are being safe and running the correct way along the course by directing them and holding up signs. This is a great shift for individuals or groups! All volunteers will receive a special t-shirt to wear and keep and coffee and bagels will be provided for race day volunteers.
Volunteers ages 14+ are eligible to participate, but this role is probably a best fit for ages 18+. Please click the link below to sign up for Course Marshal. You will see other roles available for sign up as well.
