Banned in Boston, an annual comedy and music revue, is Urban Improv’s signature fundraising event. Local Boston celebrities, media personalities, politicians, and business, arts and community leaders rally together to put on a one-night-only show. This year Banned will take place on Friday, May 11th. We're looking for volunteers who are available from 4:00-6:45 and from 5:30-7:45 to help with actor check in, guest check in, and seating.

Description
Rehearsal for Life uses theater as a vehicle for social change and has served over 80,000 young people in Boston and beyond. Our Urban Improv program helps Boston Public School students practice self-expression and creative decision-making in life's most challenging moments. Whether they're navigating peer pressure, cyber-bullying, racism, homophobia or violence, students develop self-awareness, empathy, impulse control, cooperation and conflict resolutions skills to succeed in school and in life.
