The NYP Guide Program is a program designed to reduce confusion for visitors when entering the hospital. Volunteers help by navigating and walking with patients and/or visitors to the area of the hospital that they wish to visit. If you want to put a smile on someone's face, then this is the program for you! An NYP Guide is essentially an ambassador for NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital -- it's a chance for you to welcome and reassure visitors who may be lost, confused, stressed out. Training provided. Position does require that volunteer be able to stand for a period of time greeting patients and guests. Bi-lingual English and Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply!
