Become a Volunteer Mentor
27 people are interested
We are currently seeking self-motivated, independent and empathetic volunteers to become Mentors to our youth who are at risk for child abuse and neglect. The Adolescent Mentoring Program at Robins' Nest serves youth ages 14-20 who are in need of guidance and support in Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties. Youth are matched with a volunteer mentor who acts as an appropriate, positive role model by sharing valuable experiences to improve the Mentee's self-esteem, social skills and life skills necessary to succeed as a healthy and productive individual. Our volunteers will work independently with these youth under the supervision of experienced Robins' Nest staff, who will provide comprehensive training and support.
If interested, all volunteers must first complete an application through Robins' Nest website at https://robinsnestvolunteers.applicantpro.com/jobs/84627.html All of our potential volunteers must go through an interview, reference checks, background check, and driving record check. This is to ensure the safety of our adolescents being served.
If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact Jennifer Kacewich at firstname.lastname@example.org or 856-881-8689 ext. 504. Thank you!
