If you like to talk with people, then we need you! The Marketing and Outreach Volunteer will attend various events throughout Springfield to help promote Kidzeum. This volunteer will be representing Kidzeum to the public and will therefore need to be comfortable speaking with members of the public. Typically, these events will be held on the evenings and weekends.
Kidzeum will be a 25,000 square foot structure in the heart of the historic downtown Springfield, IL. This unique educational and entertainment facility has a mission to serve as a place of learning and discovery through play for children of ALL abilities. Kidzeum is committed to nurturing health and wellness, promoting science education, and to developing environmental and global awareness through innovative programs and exhibits. Kidzeum is slated to open in July of 2018, but this volunteer position needs to be filled now!
