You choose which program you like better, Junior Achievement staff trains you on the activities in the program (1 hour training), and you get to do all of the activities with the kids the day-of the volunteering event. It's that simple! No prior experience or background knowledge required. Lunch is provided.
4th grade program: JA Our Region - Introduces the relationship between the natural, human, and capital resources found in different regions and explores regional businesses that produce goods and services for consumers.
5th grade program: JA Our Nation - Provides practical information about businesses’ need for individuals who can meet the demands of the job market, including high-growth, high-demand jobs. It introduces the concept of globalization of business and the need for students to be entrepreneurial in their thinking.
