Fosters families are heroes! Be a hero to a shelter pet. By opening your home temporarily, you help them get ready for their forever homes.
We provide all supplies and veterinary care. We can match you with a foster pet that fits your lifestyle. Like hiking? -- we'll find you a hiking buddy. Like hanging out at home? -- we'll find you a chill temporary roommate. Love kittens -- we can match you with an entire litter.
We provide all the training and support you will need. You just provide the patience and love.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to support chronically underfunded shelters and rescues in our area, and to help loving owners keep their pets.
Description
We are an all-volunteer animal welfare group. We fund raise and network to support shelters and rescues in and around the Shenandoah Valley. We also support pet owners who are struggling to keep their pets by off-setting veterinary care and other costs. As needed, we work with owners to help them re-home their pets into new families. We support existing shelter and rescue foster homes, and recruit and support new fosters.
We are open to any and all ideas for fund raising, particularly for veterinary care. Please feel free to join us. If you have a couple of hours a week, or if you are ready to dive in head first, we welcome you. Please check out our Facebook page. If you prefer to work with another animal welfare group, we have connections with many in our area and can help you find a good fit.
Thank you for considering us.
