ORGANIZATION: Willpowered Woman

Tasks

  • Promote Event and Fundraise.

  • Attend weekly meetings for the events team.

  • Find food companies to sponsor our events.

  • Find businesses that want to donate prizes for our raffle. Think big. We want cool prizes!

  • Find other companies who want to sponsor our events financially (1k - $10k)

  • Create partnerships with businesses in the Bay Area.

  • Find organizations to donate non alcoholic drinks, liquor, beer and wine.

  • Help organize everything for the event - bouncers, entertainment, waitresses and bartenders.

  • Tap into your networks and invite friends and collegues to the event.

  • Help out on the evening of the fundraising events.

  • Any other tasks that may need to be done.

Mission Statement

Willpowered Woman is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We focus on empowering women. We educate at high schools, universities and businesses to prevent intimate partner abuse and support women who have been affected.

Description

We believe that investing in our young women to let them have the best possible chance of leading a prosperous and autonomous life with many opportunities, despite their misfortunes, is the way to break the cycle of violence for future generations. Young women learn to find their voice, healing, strength, autonomy and self-esteem to make lasting changes in their lives.
