Hello, from the International Art Museum of America. Exciting Opportunities!
The International Art Museum of America, (IAMA) located at 1023 Market Street in San Francisco. We are currently reaching out to local art Institutions and community members regarding Volunteer opportunities.
IAMA’s mission is to engage the local community with the greater world. To offer our space as a place of reflection and exchange. To provide an inclusive space to experience art and generate dialogue around diverse cultures through exhibits, programs, and education.
IAMA is currently looking for:
- Volunteer Docents
- Part-time Volunteers Students or Professionals to give tours and art related presentations.
- Volunteer Art Professionals/ Professors to give art-related talks, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Volunteer Art Students for Industrial design projects, Marketing, Advertising, Design, Art history, and Curation.
Our small non-profit museum is taking new and exciting steps by reaching out to our local creative communities, educators, and students to expand and make a difference not only for our small museum but for creative engagement and opportunities.

Description
The International Art Museum of America, located in the up and coming Central Market Cultural District, offers many meaningful opportunities to volunteer in our exciting museum. We are looking for mature and enthusiastic volunteers who are seeking:
* Respectful and thoughtful communication with fellow volunteers, staff, and clients
* An opportunity to use strong listening skills and demonstrate an ability to follow multiple directions and work independently
* To become a contributing member of a team led by our dedicated staff in support of museum operations and programs.
