SafeHouse of The Desert has been invited to set-up an informational booth and help-out with several volunteer positions at Comic Con Palm Springs being held at the Palm Springs Air Museum from Friday, August 24th-26th.
We are looking for energetic and passionate individuals that have experience in customer service and are at least 18 years of age or older.

Mission Statement
Operation SafeHouse, with community support, provides emergency shelter, intervention and outreach services to runaway, homeless, and other youth in crisis. SafeHouse Offers youth positive alternatives to becoming victims of the streets.
Description
We are a shelter for youth at risk, in crisis, or a runaway. SafeHouse of the Desert will provide a critical alternative to young people whose lives are in turmoil. We have a 3 or 4 week program. Our 4 week program is our drug and alcohol program. Our goal is to keep the family unit together.
Age range is from 11 to 17.
