Family Eldercare

Hands
Connect with an isolated older adult.

Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls is a telephone-based activities program that provides isolated and lonely older adults an opportunity to connect with others. We offer social and educational sessions, support groups, and friendly conversation - all over the phone - all from the comfort of home.

This volunteer opportunity involves making phone calls to remind participants about the sessions they've registered for. This courtesy phone call can make all the difference. It not only reminds them about their sessions, but it's also an opportunity for them to interact with a friendly voice.

The time commitment is up to you, depending on how many sessions you'd like to make reminder calls for. Calls take about one hour per session.

This volunteer opportunity is virtual. Please note, though, that you must live in the U.S. A phone, computer, and internet is required. Training and ongoing support provided.

Thanks so much for considering this opportunity!
