We are looking for someone to manage a team of researchers who provide data on corporations which will help us establish corporate partnerships with Wells Bring Hope.

Required Skills

• Good leadership/management skills
• Well organized
• Strong online research skills to find potential corporate partnership prospects for our nonprofit organization
• Good analytical ability, able to make assessments regarding a potential target's fit with the organization
• Comfortable working in Excel
• Familiarity with one or more of these cloud-based tools: Dropbox, Google Docs, SharePoint, Office 365
• Capable of working independently with minimal oversight while thinking critically about your individual role in the context of a larger project
• Good basic writing skills, capable of writing up results of research findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead/motivate/supervise a small virtual team of researchers from thru-out the US
• Call new volunteers (via SKYPE, etc) to welcome to the team, explain the process, address questions, provide access to Dropbox.
• Assign prospect categories to team members
• Assist team in researching potential corporate partners via exploring and analyzing company websites, umbrella sites and other online means
• Followup with team members to ensure that research is being conducted in agreed upon time frame and that results are being accurately maintained in research spreadsheet
• Filter research findings by meeting research criteria
• Provide assistance to team members on questionable prospects and contacting prospective organizations for contact information of internal person in charge of corporate sponsorship.
• Notify WBH management of potential viable leads and work with them to develop plan of approach.
• Communicate regularly with WBH President.

Who are we? Wells Bring Hope drills wells to bring safe water to rural villages in Niger, West Africa, one of the poorest countries in the world. We are committed to saving lives with safe water and providing sustainable solutions to transform lives. The burden of fetching water falls upon women, preventing the young girls from attending school and women from working productively for their families. Not only do we drill wells, but we also provide microfinance training for women after their time is freed up from the endless walking to get water for their families.

We are an all-volunteer organization, with just one paid employee, and we look upon our volunteers as essential team members who all work together to save lives with safe water in West Africa.
