Our rescue group is very excited to be a part of the Southern Wake Academy's Earth Day 2018 event and are in need of volunteers to help us make this event successful. We are hoping to bring several of our adoptable animals, but need volunteers to make this possible. Volunteers will be repsonsible for keeping one of our dogs securely on leash, taking them for potty and water breaks, and showering them with lots of extra love and attention during the event.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our adoptable animals to be met in person and it is great for helping to build their socilization skills and confidence! These animals have been saved from kill shelters and other not so good circumstances and are looking for the 2nd chance that they deserve. It is our rescue's mission to help them along their journey to "happily-ever-after".
In addition to our rescue group, there will be food trucks, vendors, music, kids crafts, and more to enjoy at this event. We hope that you will join us for an afternoon of fun! Please email us if you are interested in helping our group. We hope to ssee you there!

Love Mutts Rescue, Inc. (LMR) is a non-breed-specific dog rescue operating in central North Carolina and south central Virginia. We are a volunteer based, non-profit corporation run by a Board of Directors, and an IRS designated 501(c)-3 charity.
