STRAY CAT ALLIANCE HEADQUARTERS
Help us feed, clean, love and play with the many cats and kittens in our care. Change blankets & litter, provide fresh food and water, new toys, and socialization to help get them adopted. We need help 7 days a week, from 8am to 8pm.
ADOPTION EVENTS
We have Adoption Events every weekend in West Los Angeles and Long Beach. We always need help setting up, breaking down and during the event caring for the cats and kittens. We also need urgent help during the week caring for the cats at the adoption centers.
STRAY CAT THRIFT STORE
We have a resale shop in West Los Angeles that raises money so we can help more kitties! It’s open Wednesday through Sunday, 11am to 6pm, and we are extremely low on help. Even if you can give just an hour, it is needed. And it’s a lot of fun! We would love donations to the store too! It’s located just north of Pico and there’s a free parking lot!
TNR IN LOS ANGELES & LONG BEACH
The more community cats we spay/neuter the fewer cats and kittens will end up dying in shelters and on the street. Do you know how to trap or would you like to learn? We have programs in South Los Angeles and Long Beach with the goal of making those city shelters no-kill.
TRANSPORTS
Can you give a kitty a lift to or from the vet or their new home? Maybe pick up a cat for us from the shelter, or take them to one of our adoption centers.
FOSTERING
The best way to help us save a life is by fostering cats and kittens. And we need bottle feeders - we will even teach you how! Every day we save lives of cats and kittens with nowhere to go but a foster home!

Do you take great photos or video with your camera or cell phone? Do you enjoy making short videos? Photos and videos get cats and kittens adopted!

Description
We are building a no-kill nation, one stray at a time. We have many life-saving programs and without volunteers like you, we can’t save as many cats and kittens. In 2017 we rescued over 1249 adoptable cats and did 870 adoptions! We saved 374 kittens from the South LA s
helter as part of our Safe at Home project, spayed/neutered over 2,000 community cats in South Los Angeles, rescued 819 community cats in Long Beach, provided medical care for over 1,750 cats and kittens, donated food to low income cat caregivers, and gave valuable information and resources to almost 2,000 people who contacted our hotline.
