Vigil Volunteering is sitting with and attending to our actively dying patients. Some patients may have family members at bedside that just need a chance to rest, sleep, catch up on family phone calls, take a warm shower or attend to funeral planning. Others may have outlived their family members or are from out of state and family members can't be present or perhaps their family member is also facing their own health crisis. Whatever the case may be, no-one should ever have to die alone. If you would like to share your time and heart as a Vigil Volunteer, please contact me.
