Zaman's Good Deeds Resale Shop provides a free, dignified selection experience for clients needing clothes, furniture, and household goods. It is also open to the public for low-cost purchases. The proceeds from these purchases go to better serve our clients through Zaman's various other programs, including rent and utilities assistance, buying food, and hotel costs. The store is part of Zaman's overall mission to provide basic needs and job training to female heads of household and female refugees and immigrants.
Volunteers will assist our staff in the Good Deeds Resale Store with sorting and organizing donations, re-stocking shelves, hanging clothing, cleaning items and areas, and creating displays for our customers and clients.
- Both people skills and organization are important in the store.
- Volunteers will receive on-site training in-store processes.
- Volunteers will gain valuable skills in customer service and store maintenance while helping support the most vulnerable in our community.
