We need a tam-certified volunteer to bartend our Karaoke fundraiser on April 26 in Downtown Reno, from 5:15pm - 8:30pm!
Just who are we? Project REAL is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that teaches an average of 16,000 K-12 students about the law & their rights in Nevada each year. Our TAM Card Certified Volunteer will serve drinks to local community members during our fundraiser "Lyrics and Lawyers’ - our first event in Northern Nevada...so it's a big deal for us and we would greatly appreciate your support!
Lyrics & Lawyers is a karaoke event with a competitive portion for all law practice professionals: from secretaries to senior partners. That being said, we serve all young Nevadans, so anyone interested in supporting our work is welcome to participate no matter what profession you're in!
Our event will take place on April 26th, 2018 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
Our drink-serving volunteers need to be TAM Card Certified being that the volunteer well be handling alcohol. Other than that we are looking for someone with a vibrant personality that is eager to be apart of community event we hope to continue!

Our work includes providing courthouse field-trips to students that get to see live criminal court proceedings, teaching students laws they are likely to encounter and need to be aware of, providing learning opportunities outside the classroom, and developing healthy relationships between students and law enforcement officials.
We've served over 5,000 students in the area since 2014, despite having only had an office in Reno for a little over a year now. We've successfully held this event in Las Vegas, and now as we work to expand our service in the area, we are happy to bring it to our Northern Nevada Supporters. Project REAL, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was created in 2005 to meet the challenge of teaching K-12th grade Nevada students the importance of the law. Our goal is to prepare Nevada’s children to become involved, participating citizens who understand their social responsibilities and rights.
We are bringing law and civic education back to Nevada’s classrooms through a variety of programs and all programs are provided to schools at no cost.
