The Day Home is looking for stewardship of our Children's Garden, specifically someone who has experience caring for chickens!
Support our mission of educating young children in a stable and nurturing environment by beautifying our garden, caring for our chickens and sharing your knowledge with preschool aged children.
We are seeking individuals with at least basic gardening and chicken experience who are looking for a weekly opportunity to get their hands dirty. The stewardship program involves a weekly commitment (1-2 times a week) for at least two months.
Seasonal/Farm-to-Table/edible gardening experience and knowledge is a plus! Our garden is currently a combination of herbs, fruit and vegetable plants and flowers.
Experience working with children is a plus, but not required.
