Berkeley Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers to help us deliver meals to homebound seniors. We deliver on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week and volunteers start their routes between 10:15 and 11:00am. Most routes take an hour or less! Drivers must have their own car and a current driver's license and auto insurance. We also have bicycle routes and can supply the delivery trailer. Our dispatch location is right off University at 1925 9th Street behind the Berkeley Food Network. Please call or email if you are interested in serving meals and being a friendly connection to the homebound older adults in Berkeley. Many of our volunteers say it's the highlight of their week!
