We are looking for volunteers to help cook a community meal for our international guests at HI South Bay Hostel.
Community meals are a great way to bring people together from various backgrounds and parts of the world to learn about one another.
Volunteers are responsible or cooking and serving meal, facilitating conversation between guests and cleaning up.
Community Meals are every Friday and cooking starts around 6 pm.

We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start: from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.
