Hello!

We're in need of roughly 6 professionals to volunteer (male and female) to help facilitate our Product Development & Design workshop. The event is on Wednesday, April 25th. It's an all day summit for 300 tween / teen girls hosted by our partner organization. We were invited to add a STEM component to the day. Our workshop is scheduled 11a - 12:30p. Volunteer facilitators would need to be there no later than 10a until 1p. You will need flexibility in your schedule in the event they run late. Arriving early will ensure time to park, get situated and discuss any questions as well as organize. We will have to move quickly as the time-slot for the workshop is only 90 minutes. However, there is no heavy-lifting.

The 300 girls will have mentors for the day. However, we need dependable volunteers to serve as facilitators. The 90 min Product Development & Design curriculum is very simple, so no prior experience needed. We can schedule a intro call next week to go over the details. In brief, there will be an instructor guiding the workshop. The facilitators will go from table to table (30 total - 5 tables per facilitator) to ask students if they have any questions. Also to make sure they are following along and keeping time. Again, there will be volunteer mentors at each table. They will workshop with the students. Facilitators are primarily helping to ensure things are running smoothly but can of course give insights. We love those who like to be engaged, passionate and excited!

Thank you so much for your time and support!
