Each year Leja Bulela holds an annual conference in a different city and this year it will be in wonderful Wichita, KS! One of our board members is a professor at Wichita State University so we will host our event at Wichita State University.
We are looking for volunteers that have a passion for philanthropy, community involvement and have great customer service skills.
Here are more details on the assignments:
- Friday - this is the day that our conference kicks off. We will need volunteers to work registration at CAC Theater (this is where Friday's activities will take place). Your shift would run from 4pm - 9pm and you can enjoy the food and peek in on the performances.
- Saturday AM - this is our biggest conference day. This will be held at Rhatigan Student Center. We will need volunteers for registration during the day time and that would be any time from 9am until 4pm (we can break down your shift). Lunch will be provided if you're working during lunch hour.
- Saturday PM - We will be hosting our fabulous fundraising gala at the Marcus Welcome Center. We need volunteers to assist with set up, registration at the door, assisting the caterer, and clean up/tear down. This shift will go from 5pm until 11:45pm (a meal will be provided and you can breakdown shifts)
We are also looking for a videographer throughout the weekend! If you're interested, please let me know!
STUDENTS: If you need credits for internships or volunteer hours, we can work with you to provide that.
