Making Opportunities Reality Granting Assistance Nationwide

We are creating an indoor, multi-sensory wonderland for kids with disabilities during the Family Cafe, the Florida Governor's Annual Summit on Disabilities, held at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando from June 14, 15, 16. Our 5,000 sqft ballroom will be transformed into incredibly interactive activities and stations for kiddos with disabilities to have a place to decompress and have fun, and give their parents a break, too. They get over 18,000 participants every year, and this will be our 3rd year providing this respite for the families attending. It is essential that we have enough responsible adults (age 16+ only please) sign up to assist us with this huge event!! We will be setting up the space, overseeing the activities, and then breaking it all down again when done so we have days/hours that work for just about anyone. Excellent opportunity for high school students still needed hours for Bright Futures requirements!!! Best part is that this is a FUN way to give back :)

We have multiple shifts available for each day:
June 14th: Empty trailer and setup ballroom, 5p-9p
June 15th: All day shift: 8a-6p; 1st shift: 8a-12p; 2nd shift: 11a-3p; 3rd shift: 2p-6p
June 16th: All day shift: 8a-9p; 1st shift: 8a-12p; 2nd shift: 11a-3p; 3rd shift: 2p-9p; Break down ballroom and load trailer shift: 5p-9p

Let us know what you are available to work!

The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project is a grassroots charitable organization that strives to enhance the Quality-of-Life for medically fragile children with special health care needs and the parents that are their lifetime caregivers. The support programs include providing access to pediatric medical supplies and equipment not otherwise covered by insurance, educational seminars to empower parents to be better advocates for their child, networking and support services referrals, an extensive resources database of local and nationwide organizations that assist children with disabilities, and "Morgan's Place", a unique multi-sensory environment and technology zone that has been created as a therapeutic play center for children with physical disabilities and/or sensory processing disorders. This all-volunteer organization is a one-stop referral hub for children with special needs in our community!
